Why should you choose Tae Kwon-Do over any other martial art? Tae Kwon-Do is the most popular martial art right now. This is true not only for the U.S, but all over the world(over 190 Countries). Nowadays only Tae Kwon-Do is recognized as a competitive sport by I.O.C. (International Olympic Committee). Since the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Tae Kwon-Do is and has been an Olympic Medal Event; It was the second event in history that included martial arts, judo being the first. Most countries even have regular school sports that include Tae Kwon-Do at all levels of school ranging from elementary to university level. If you are looking for an exercise program which you can continue for the rest of your life, consider Tae Kwon-Do. Even when you are moving to other town or going to college, you can easily continue your training in another Tae Kwon-Do school because all the Tae Kwon-Do schools teach by a similar method. Tae Kwon-Do originated in Korea, as does our Grandmaster. He comes equipped with the knowledge of his forefathers. This training and personal experience gives him the necessary tools to train students worldwide in the Art of Tae Kwon-Do. The goal of Tae Kwon-Do is to make the individual aware of their own natural strength and turn it into their own greatest advantage. Master Jung believes not only in physical strength and conditioning, but also in mental strength and conditioning. One of Master Jung's greatest teachings is that of meditation and breathing techniques, because he understands that a proper mental attitude is necessary to succeed in Tae Kwon-Do as well as in life.
